Beautiful colours, Mike. They look rather like the blooms of a Clematis although it is very late in the year for a Clematis to bloom – although ours has just produced two flowers exactly like this.

Very beautiful! They look like anemones – colourful relatives to the buttercup. There are many varieties, blooming spring through fall.

Judy is explaining to me what Whovill is. I missed that, and about everything else as a kid. The flowers are anemone, I have since learned.
