My sweet girl will be eleven on Halloween, and I love her madly. Isn’t she a beauty.

She is a beauty. I have a Golden retriever named Max who will be 12 next month. He is blind and has cancer but is still enjoying life.

I’m thinking of getting a Golden for our foster child. She sleeps with my dog (to keep away wolves) but I kinda want my dog with me so I thought a Golden would be perfect. (Also a good excuse to get another dog). Happy birthday, Pumpkin!

  I was married for 1 year in 1972 and just got out of the Navy and settled in Colorado with my young bride. Pumpkin was in my distant future which I caught up with in no time at all.
