I have not really put in the time or effort required for that kind of find. I’d be excited to find a fossil. It might even be older than me.

I did find a good sized piece of petrified wood that is veined and crystallized. It has been dated from the tertiary period (2-65 million years ago.) That was found close to my home in northern Colorado.
