A belated Happy New Year to all of you. One day I will write about the joy and discovery I have found from blogging and what your comments and thoughts mean to me. I also marvel at how skilled and creative this blogging community is, and I am continually inspired. Joy, peace, and laughter are my wishes for all of you. Thank you.

Thank You Veterans

A belated but heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our brave veterans who left family and the comfort of home to serve our nation, sometimes at great peril.

My wife and I are both veterans and met in the Navy many, many years ago. Not only was I lucky enough to score my life long companion, she is also my best friend and lover. And I have a great sense of pride that comes from having served.

Thank you fellow veterans.

Nurses

Just a large thank you to all the nurses out there who do amazing and important work. My experience has always been that you are truly angels of mercy who are as compassionate as you are skilled. Bless all of you.
