In my continuing search for texture, this find stopped me in my tracks. The faint writing on the door says ‘come in and look.’  The rascal in me wanted to change it to come in and die. It appears to have been abandoned for some time, and has become stunning as it sits and rots.

Bathed in brilliant afternoon light, this curious store front screamed at me. Set amongst grain elevators and peeling structures it was most curious and out of place in a tiny old town. I do not know what it is, as I just continued my slow trek through this old town.

Playboy Club

This small shed once housed the first club in America. A group of small town fellows who enjoyed beer to excess would gather here and discuss prospective conquests. Unfortunately, none ever occurred, but it was great fun to imagine themselves as playboys and lovers extraordinaire.
