Cottonwood Leaf

A fallen leaf decomposes with color and flair. Like a snowflake, each one is unique.

After several days of hard evening rains, this is what appeared up against my large cottonwood tree. I guess this kind of clustering happens at the base of a tree. Does anyone know what kind of mushrooms they are? I wish I could eat them all, with butter.
