Bathed in brilliant afternoon light, this curious store front screamed at me. Set amongst grain elevators and peeling structures it was most curious and out of place in a tiny old town. I do not know what it is, as I just continued my slow trek through this old town.
On my way to not much, while driving through the middle of nowhere, I came to a stop light and on my left this remarkable sight loomed. Whatever it may have been, it now stands as deco art. Photo treats, in the middle of nowhere.
If this is a barn, it is the biggest one I have ever seen. It appears to be an all purpose building that may well be a home too. Animals downstairs, people upstairs? It is a huge structure that no doubt has hay and tools in it as well. It appears to be well maintained.
Tactile and appealing in composition, this is a site I passed and turned around for. Luckily, someone was coming outside and I asked if I could take a few photos. They obliged and I roamed freely without the very real threat of getting shot, which can happen to a trespassing brutish looking guy.
