As one foal watches me, three others are sleeping, while two birds hitch a ride.
The only sound heard on this spring day was the sweet chirping of busy birds.
Shot with a point and shoot at full zoom, this image is admittedly soft. Still, I think it takes on a certain sweetness which may, or may not, make up for its lack of clarity.
Do they have a destination or are they just enjoying this beautiful spring, at last.
A welcome warming trend has created a swimming hole for some happy flappers.
Flying and honking in a loose formation, as summer bids adieu.
I have enjoyed the last several days in a quiet state park, and found this beauty standing still and snatching small fish. This image is at full 300mm and is hand held.
