We are enjoying some time in South Dakota and my wonderful wife found a nice adventure for us. At the top of this road are many rocks and we came away with two buckets of what hopefully will turn out to be beauties. Life is good.

My wife and I huddled in the car, caught between disbelief and panic, while our dog barked loud enough to give us up. We still tell ourselves it couldn’t have been real.

Puerto Vallarta

Every Saturday in Lazaro Cardenas Park, Puerto Vallarta hosts a fabulous farmers market where local foods are free to taste, and available for purchase. Here one will find cheese, pastries, pies, salsas, and an abundance of arts and crafts, including some great glass work. (click on any image for added detail)

Just beyond the park are the beautiful and lush hills, and one block the other way is the beach and ocean.
