Found on a recent hike in Rocky Mountain National Park, I am somewhat mesmerized by the delicate beauty of this fallen leaf. My lovely wife Judy is my hand model.

I find unusual leaves this time of year. This one is a beauty for sure. I wonder how many people take the time to notice a fallen leaf? Happy Sunday to you, Mike. 🙂

Gorgeous patterning. The green forms the shape of a tree… leaf stem as trunk …
There is something about fallen leaves that are not in a mass … they catch the eye, a signal to look down, focus. No two exactly alike!

Yes, I agree with all of that. This one looked at me before I looked at it. Thank you.

I’ve been moving place to place all day, with this leaf image constantly nudging my thoughts … came up with a haiku … May I use your image (crediting you, linking to your blog) on my site? Here’s the haiku:
ASPEN IN PALM
Hand gently lifts leaf
early turning fallen one
full tree essence held
