serene, sombre almost…. waiting. thats the feeling that it seems to convey. Its a lovely photograph Mike. I love the near monochromatic feel to it. cheers, Debi
Sombre is a good adjective. Many of my photos end up having a slightly dark quality to them. I am drawn there, a prisoner of sorts.
Your work, on the other hand, dances with light and color. A full on celebration.
Glad you are so awesomely serious a fellow, Mike. 😁⭐️
Yes, we had Kung Fu here, but I didn’t watch it. I got my oriental wisdom from Monkey Magic, which was a Japanese TV series, based on a Chinese adventure story written in the 16th century, dubbed into English by the Brits and made for kids. It was full of the wisdom of Buddha yet managed to be extremely funny and had awesome fight scenes between Monkey and his friends and lots of demons and bad humans!
This is exactly what I love about working outdoors. Lovely image, Mike.

Looks really peaceful, I agree. Maybe you could – in some spots – hear the water gurgling, too?
Have a wonderful Sunday,

Looks peaceful. I love being in the city for a visit but much prefer the countryside. 🙂

It was a show in the early 70’s and I have no idea if you even get American made shows. It was called Kung Fu. And I never make jokes, Kitty.
