That looks like the swing set I grew up with. That thing toppled over when we got too wild on it!! I love this title, Mike and the image brought back some good memories.
such a splendid photo, the “faded” color is just perfect as is the composition, just the sliver of sky above, the top bar running along the top of the trees in the background, brings a certain heaviness to fading memory.
Wonderful photo, Mike. As a Led Zeppelin fan, I love the title.

Thanks Jet. I did not know my title was associated with Led Zeppelin, although now it rings a heavy balloon like bell.

Did it happen when the “children of the corn” fields turned to soy bean? 🙂

Yes, that is quite a backyard isn’t it.

I can feel the breeze from the swing, the smiles on my face and my legs pumping for the blue sky. Nice photo.

What an evocative title for the swing set scene!! It does look a bit forlorn out there in the weeds abandoned as it is. But, the echoes are real.

And a generation that walks into traffic with their heads buried in their phones.
Obesity, indeed.

I feel the echoes and also recalled these swings – nowadays we have play towers and mini adventure parks at home – 😉

I played on heavy industrial swings in the city parks in Brooklyn. The same ones are probably still there.
