Absolutely, although it is an unknown how Pumpkin would be with a cat. They might be buddies, but not the case with rabbits, squirrels, and birds. Those she likes to eat. Silly putty nosed big baby Pumpkin!
She would definitely eat the cat if she likes rabbits, squirrels and birds. “Snitch the cat, Pumpkin! Snitch the cat!”. ( snitch = Aussie slang for catch the cat.)
A snitch here is somebody who rats you out.
I gotta watch sneaky putty nosed Pumpkin. Her favorite things are birds. If she was sent to retrieve she would instead pause for a meal.
I have personal experience that says you are right on the mark. I knew this woman once, green eyes with orange in them. Oh my goodness….that image is mine to keep.
What an intense look in those eyes… as if she’d been caught with her hand in the mouse-cookie-jar 😉

I like that her eyes match her surroundings….camouflaging her, like a great big cat hunter.

Not a good hunter’s dog then. But still feisty for a senior citizen. That is very good.
