Winter Fence

Winter Fence

Thank goodness for my snowblower. 12 more inches. I’d be dead shoveling.

  1. Now should I be envious or happy, that we don’t have so much snow? 😉 Well, THAT much would be too much for my liking, too, but just some would be great. Here it’s way too dry.
    Have a great day,

  2. I like the photo, but I do NOT envy you the snow. The two feet that fell here almost melted, yesterday’s rain helped. As far as I am concerned, snow can fall somewhere where I am not 🙂

  3. Yep, you always read about people dropping dead from shoveling snow. I think the experts suggest you push the snow rather than lift it. Also, take a lot of breaks. When people are shoveling snow they get goal oriented and try to shovel for too long to finish the job quickly.

  4. We have had no snow on the ground here this winter. So far! Which is good, as Lower mainland BC people are idiots on snowy roads. Even Yuma can be cold at this time of year, so I’m surprised so many Canadian Snowbirds camp down there each winter. Great photo, but Brrr. G

    • Yuma rarely gets “cold” although it does dip into the 40’s at night, at least that is what I read. I have met many fine Canadians in Mexico, this time of year.

  5. I’m from southern CA… so if it snowed here, the one person who actually owned a shovel, if they left it outside (to say, use the restroom or take break), they would come back and it would be stolen. 🙂 Because some other person, would be unprepared and take from the “prepared for anything” person. That’s how it works here.

when kids were small (toddlers) we went to Disneyland and it was very windy, cold day. I parked the stroller and left the blankie in the storage bin while we went into Pirates of Carribean. Came out, and someone stole the blanket! We have to leave early because my 1 year old was too cold.

So, is there ever any shovel stealing?
