  1. I love structures like this. It can be many years before nature dictates whether she’ll fall flat from the roots rotting, or if she’ll shed limbs, one at a time, creating a lovely snag for some woodpeckers or squirrels to nest in.

  2. What an amazing scene Mike. The hills in the background of what looks like a log cabin I could easily imagine this was discovered in the hills of West Virginia. These old places have a story if they could speak I would love to hear it but unfortunately I have to let my imagination do the work. I love you photography subjects mike. There the best I’ve seen.
