Awww, beautiful horses! I love how the one in back looks like he photobombed! tee hee! When I was in Idaho and tried to photo a horse he was shy of me and wanted no part of posing! Hugz Lisa and Bear
Years and years and years ago, when traveling through Kentucky, we pulled over to look at horses in a rolling green field bordered by a neat white fence. My dad “whickered” and called over a curious, chocolate foal. The adults watched, much like your Vigilant three. 🙂
He whickered, eh. A skill I have not cultivated. I approach them as me, most often without treats, but always with a gentle hand and open heart. They are perhaps the most beautiful creatures on earth.
Triplets….you know how they all stick together….how they are suspicious of those of us who don’t have an identical by our sides…

So I need to find an identical twin to put them at ease? I’ll get right on it.

Yes, they judged my character as I judge others, with a bit of suspicion at first. Oh Lori!

That I was impressive, Jane? Suspicious? More likely, although I loved them before I got there.

Without treats, and appropriately marked in “Horse” as treats, you cannot be trusted. 😉

Yeah, no treats on that day as I was not out looking for horses, per se. A Man Called Horse?
