Our family has a table where someone stuck a block of wood under an uneven leg, over 100 years ago. Now we will never repair it because that block of wood is an antique! The window in your picture may have achieved that status too! 🙂 Great picture, I love the rectangles within rectangles and the texture.
The ridges are clear enough, I can almost feel the roughness and immediate worry over splinters. Is this a window, or where one would store chopped wood for winter and fireplace?
