Nice photo, and funny… because I shot photos of several hundreds geese too a few days ago. Although, the geese in Germany are brighter, yours are darker, it’s interesting that they look different. You remind me I should upload my photos too. 🙂
Great shot, Mike. 🙂
Up here in the Texas Hill Country the coming autumn announces itself not by flocks of geese, but, like this morning, with some high-lying fog – or low-lying clouds. Just a matter of perspective.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Pit
This morning, luckily, it was way up. That’s why I’m not sure if it was low-lying clouds. But looked more like fog to me. But anyway: no problem at all to see things that might go bump.
We have very short and mild winters, I miss the dramatic season changes. I don’t enjoy cold environments though, I think my blood is too thin to withstand it from years in the sub tropics! Have a great day Mike.
Hi there. Here in Northern Colorado it cooled down to the low 40’s last night. Fall is just around the corner for sure. Thanks for the look and comment, eh.
Beautiful picture Mike.

Lovely photograph… thoughtful caption too! 🙂 I have already seen the first flock of the season heading South here in Oklahoma. Autumn has arrived.

Perhaps you saw these very same geese as you are south of me. Never stand directly under them 😉

Perhaps my post processing has something to do with these geese being darker. Hell if I know. Thanks Dennis.

Fog in the hill country can be a dangerous thing. Be safe and avoid things that go bump in the fog.

very beautiful Mike and a welcome reminder that summer is on the way out not to wish my life away but it’s been insufferable here this summer! ❤

Thank you. I always enjoy the fall and buck up for the winter, which I have little use for.

I don’t like the winters here but the other 3 seasons are superb. A trade off. You have a good day as well.

Definitely a nice scene with so many beautiful elements in it. The birds really add that perfect emphasis that Fall is just about here.

If those are chickens something must have scared them real bad.

Chickens, as in afraid to stick it out through the winter like the rest of us.
