Spring Landscape

spring landscapeA wet spring has resulted in early mosquitoes and a zillion miller moths. I confess I enjoy turning on the bug zapper at night and watching them pop, sizzle, and explode.

  1. That is not a cloud of mosquitoes you photographed! I agree and they are vicious when out hiking but I think my guy Romy would say they are nothing compared to the deer flies and horse flies (yes they’re out already here!) that make his life a misery.

    • Not a mosquito cloud but it does look like one. It’s the miller moths that are the bigger problem right now as they find their way inside and at night it gets crazy when you turn a light on.
