I was stunned to notice how some of the snow that had accumulated on my roof was sliding off. It created a sheet that didn’t stay long, and was blessed with natural back-light.

beautiful photography, makes me long for some icicles, though we did get into the low 30’s here in florida last night. Mike, I have a new address : https://aheartafire.wordpress.com/.
That is my dream, MIke, to find a house or even a houseboat, all one needs is a bike to get around town, unfortunately the last time I checked a “hovel” was selling for over a million dollars! đ
I once left there in a tropical storm riding passenger on a motorcycle across the 7 mile bridge in 70 mile an hour winds to escape back to Miami…that was interesting.
What a beautiful picture.

Yeah, buying property there is not part of my plan. Hurricane evacuation from there would be a slow grind as well.

I will purchase a large yacht for the 4 of us and we will just cruise quiet and warm waters for the rest of our days.

Lovely crystallization… it also looks oddly like the fraying edges of my late grandmother’s lace tablecloth.. đ

Knitted by nature and captured by Mike, refreshing bit of photography. The snow doesn’t seem half bad on a sunny day.

Half bad would be about right, and the sun is always a nice thing, although here it is generally sunny but can still be too damn cold.
