It snows yesterday and all night, but the temps are riding, so tomorrow it will be almost 60 and everything will melt. Almost spring … until the next cold snap!
Gatlinburg Tennessee. I bought it in 2011. It’s legal to sell there. At that time there was one place selling it. When I was there in October there were a bunch of new stores opened up and selling it. Really good stuff!
I gather than looking at these beautiful summertime photos helps get through the bleakest – and full-on, snowblowin’ – days, and reminds you also that one day you’ll see flowing water and lush green trees once again 😉
It is a breathtaking picture; especially when I viewed it on my bigger screen computer. I love your comment…..”none of it is lost on me.” Can’t get much more grateful than that. I love you dear friend.
Looks great, any bears out there? We were in the Rockies with friends on the hottest day and stopped by a creek like this, it was like a giant air conditioner as the water rushed by.
There are some black bears up there but they are seldom seen. Mountain lions as well. And once there was a Boomdee, but she slipped in and out undetected.
Beauiful photo of this landscape.

Thanks. Unless you ski, do it in the summer.

Not a skier, but love to hike. Probably spring or fall would be best when it’s not so hot.

We don’t see 60 anymore. Rode home thru a blizzard yesterday (short lived, 4 more inches of snow). Without my snow-blower I would have died years ago.

This is a sunny state (ranks high on the national percentage scale.) Get to the right place and it’s hard to miss a good shot. Thank you.

Me neither. Got a bottle of Jack and some moonshine in the cabinet right now. I don’t drink regularly but I do enjoy it when I do!

Moonshine? Where did you get that?

I would only buy the 100 proof, and lo and behold, there are several outlets very close to me (1 1/2 miles.)
Very cool, thanks Michael.

I agree and none of it is lost on me. Being here is no accident and I much prefer it to anywhere else, certainly in the summer, spring, and fall.
