This restored honey is left outside to face the elements. It’s enough to make a sentimental soul like me very angry. Perhaps I’ll steal it, wash it, and give it a proper home.
I must. Perhaps I’ll to drive east and hide out. New York might be a good place. That way I can eat Sabretts and a proper bagel and lox before I am found.
Why would anyone take the time, invest the money, to restore car, bike, whatever? Then leave it outdoors all year long? t doesn’t make sense. Just let me know when the proposed heist will be.
A sad story indeed. I suspect the clowns who now have possession were not the folks who lovingly restored her. Something that beautiful should be touched, and touched well.
Brrrr is right. They say it is going to -27f two nights from now. That will be the coldest weather I have ever lived in. Not windchill, but actual temp. No wonder I think winter sucks.
If she’s the sleeping beauty Mike then it’s obvious isn’t it … to wake her up and bring her back to life all she needs is a KISS! Get over there quickly!
We walked past there just this morning and she has some really nice hand made detail work painted on the hood, which remains partially covered. Some really stupid owners who could cover her for little money.
I’m like the kid who saw dead people except I see stupid people.
Be my accomplice, please.
LOL, “I see stupid people” , that made me laugh. Why hasn’t that made it into a movie? snort, funny you.
Hey maybe they really don’t care about their car and would entertain an offer? I think pumpkin would look super sweet heading out with mom and dad in a vintage pink car! 🙂
I know the car looks pink, but in real life it is an off orange color.
I never really got into cars like most guys did as part of their development. But I do own two chainsaws and a big motorcycle so I did cross that finish line.
Pumpkin looks good in anything, except maybe clothes. We have not dressed her up much.
And I already own a car that is 13 years old and has over 110,000 miles on it. It needs to run as long as I do.
She deserves a good sturdy tarp at least.

She is a beauty, all pink and white, a few extra pounds can’t hide what lies beneath.

Nice, I could use some back up muscle if things go wrong. They also leave a motorcycle outside uncovered, all year long.

You wanted muscle! And she loves bikes. So while you and I are busy with the car, she can grab the bike. No?

Ah, yes, she would certainly take umbrage at the bike in the snow, and come to think of it, she might be the muscle too.

I definitely want in on this caper! Whethe to grab the bike, be the muscle, or provide distraction with my non-stop talking … I’m in!

I’d pay to hang out with you, Laurie. Whether for protection, entertainment, or a get away driver. You are in. I’ll have my people talk with yours.

Or, you can hide out in the mountains, in one of those of ghost towns or abandoned mines. But, make sure the address doesn’t include “Big House”. 🙂

You have heard of the three guys who escaped from Alcatraz all those years ago? I may, or may not be, one of them.
