Gotta tell ya, that ain’t choppy for Lake Huron. I love it best when all you can see is tall white caps from shore to horizon. And when it’s still and calm. ….Well, any time really. It’s my favourite place to be and I’m glad I only live 20 minutes away from it. I love the colours you captured here. Lake Huron is such an emotional boy. (Yeah, I see it as a he, but then, I’m just a little crazy lol)
Me? Ice fish? hahah-no. The cold and me, we don’t get along but, still, I do dress up warmly and go for walks on the snow and ice that is the beach and lake.
Nice colors, green and blue, and white.

Yes, A black and white version would be dramatic, given the clouds. Thanks.

Wow, great one, Mike! I can hear the wind chop just looking at the water and wild sky. 🙂

It looks like the ocean. It’s hard to imagine lakes that big.

Well, it was choppy enough for me. The wind was really howling and anything worse would be don’t get out of the car weather.
Good morning, Cat.

😀 You should spend some of the spring or autumn here. It is beautiful to watch the seasons play out on the lake. https://catherinebowman.files.wordpress.com/2013/11/perspective.jpg?w=714&h=535 <- Autumn
