You are right. This was the kind of autumn we live for. I have so many pictures — I lot I haven’t done anything with yet — and we traveled, so I have pictures from Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. It was a VERY good year!
Excellent photo Mike. I’ll miss it too..but winter is here with it’s beauty and wonder…and it is a whole new ball game! I look forward to it. Hope you are well my friend!
Yeah, I’m thinking you are more positive about the winter than I am. But we both know how quickly time goes and soon, very soon, it will be spring. Thanks James.
A lovely picture and I like the way you’ve processed the image very much Mike. It has been a good autumn, over incredibly quickly.. shortest day soon.. how the time rolls on these days..
I was just telling Judy today that it feels like I have shifted into a faster time gear. It is off the hook fast. Have you ever ridden a 3 wheel motorcycle?
I’ve not ridden a trike Mike, no. My Dad has a quad bike that I’ve had some fun with off road but never a three wheeler. Might suit me better these days.
We have had 3 inches of snow so far and that was in early November when it was so cold. Everything is dry and it will be in the 50’s all week, There have been winters past where I have played golf in every month. Generally it snows some, and then melts off. It can get real nasty and snowy, but that is the exception.
Another unusual take on a scene. Well, I do have a friend up here who takes pics with a similar feel, but his are also somehow atypical with the coloring, darkness, and that feeling that comes through. Really draws us in. Again. 🙂

You are most welcome and enjoy the mild winter. Above freezing here even on the prairies this week. Very unusual but happy to have it.:)

looks lush and plentiful even though the leaves had fallen. I’m enjoying your POV, it’s like I get to stand there too.

This is an area where we walk with Pumpkin when we can. She is off leash and loves it there.
