It was a magnificent autumn, wasn’t it? I have folders full of pictures I haven’t looked at, much less processed. Winter will come — those folders will be a treasure trove of goodies 🙂 Meanwhile, the sumac is gorgeous!
It was a really fabulous autumn here and the only good thing about winter is that it will come to an end, and quickly at that. As fast as time goes it will be but a trickle in my life’s clock, now running at a ridiculous speed.
As summer pulled a lovely red drape closed over summer, the sun still peaking thru, winter seemed impossible. I think that’ll be the first line of my future memoir…LOL Your photo captured a moment that makes me feel warm and happy.
Beautiful curtain!

Thanks. I installed the same one in my shower but within 2 days it was all brittle and dead. So sad.

It’s such a beautiful plant in autumn, but invasive and often causes allergic reactions like poison ivy… best not used in the shower, my friend!! 😀

You strike me as generally warm and happy. A closing curtain, followed by the next act which is dull and grey.

I surely want to be warm and happy, I think I succeed 98% of the time. In Alberta, winter days are usually bright, sunny and sparkling white. Then again, there are days like this:
