This horse is a stunner. Looks like the breed that Native Americans might have ridden, as they were being chased from their lands.

Horses are so close with humans since we’ve used them for transportation and recreation since forever. And yes, sadly as the indians were chased from their land. 😦

A lovely creature – great stockinged legs…but the body is oddly mottled or scarred so there must be an interesting story there. Looks happy and well cared for now though.

I noticed the body being scarred as well but know nothing of it’s life. It is a hardy thing and is huge and strong. And hello, Carol.

She’s a stunner. Those big brown eyes get you every time (that’s what my husband says, HA). The spring meadow is such a delicious green.

That horse is an absolute stunner and I was lucky to be that close, although she completely ignored me. Sigh….wouldn’t be the first time.
