I miss this. i am in Florida. But we do have the Birds of Paradise. Different to be sure. And then there is the shore. Were we can gaze out wondering where the Great Whites are.
Great title and the leaves are beautiful viewed big!! Here in Florida Fall sneaks up on you. You sense drier air, temps moderate..but no getting splashed with color from changing leaves!!
One of the few sights I still miss from Canada (boohoo). Another few days or weeks, and TADA! – deeply red leaves will show off their full & utter brilliance! Oh Mike, please won’t you post ’em then too?!

Gorgeous these leaves. Even though the maple leaf is a Canadian symbol we don’t have them in Alberta as it is too cold. Happy to see yours. 🙂

Yes, I was stationed in Florida many moons ago and remember the subtle seasons there.
Thank you.

While in Pittsburgh these past 3 days, the maples were on beautiful display, and a lovely site to see. As is this image, Mike!

And just imagine how hard it is to press those leaves to get that wonderful syrup.

I’ve seen some maple trees in South Korea and they were red. I’ve learned from other sources about Canadian maple trees. What’s the difference?
