A great old stone house stands abandoned, and beautiful in Michigan.

Something so amazing stands the test of time, and speaks of history and family.

  I am indeed, although the 4 day drive here was not great fun. We are set up nicely in a quiet park and Pumpkin has never been happier, playing with another golden and running off leash.

Those stones would have been laid by hand – bet this house could tell some stories. The scroll work on the top of the window frames is special and hopefully someone will lovingly restore it one day. Great photos!

Nice place! We’ve got a house very much like it on our street. Some people bought it, drilled a new well, fixed it up and are happily living there. It was built in the mid 1700s and with a bit of care will probably stand forever 🙂
