I think it’s a dog thing. Bonnie is always showing up in druid disguise, with oak leaves hanging all over her face. They approach life head first 🙂

I love it.
Then one day, in random fashion, Pumpkin comes in with a toy that has been buried and varies between very dirty to rotten and disgusting.

She does present them as if they are gifts. Rotten and fetid, and I have to make believe it’s what I always wanted. Sometimes, if it’s an old bone I have to chew on with her 😉

Bless her heart! She has such a sweet and innocent aura about her…I’d go with her and help her bury the toys or dig them up…all in the name of togetherness with the one you love. *g* Love these kinds of posts and photographs…reminds me so much of Harmony, my beloved Black Lab, taken from us by cancer.

The real kicker with Pumpkin’s face is that it has always smelled good. I mean for real, it’s like a vanilla cookie and what would have been 5 light kisses turns into a full petting (petting!) session.
