Mike it reminds me of the board game Jenga. If you take just one of the wrong pieces of wood out the whole structure will collapse. Maybe the pile of bricks in the corner is holding it together. 🙂
Yes, those bricks are there for a reason, I reckon. I don’t know Jenga, but I know pick up sticks. Here we have an old building made of boards and you mention a board game. Did you know you were that clever, Sue?
Haha Mike…yes so clever I didn’t even realize the word association. Jenga is a game where you stack little wooden blocks in a tower type of formation. Then you take turns removing one wooden piece at a time. If the tower falls when you are pulling one out you lose. 🙂
Just like pic up stix. I kind of missed my childhood. Sad but true. But I’m now functioning as an adult child which at the very least makes me curious and interesting.
The comments today (well, always) are great! I had to check out Laura’s shed, first. And I agree that the bricks are holding up the shed, something I see fairly regularly around here.
The colors of those old boards are wonderful and show the beauty of wood.
Shedding it’s skin – ha!
Yes, shedding its skin. Every now and again I can do a play on words. Actually I love doing that, being the clever guy that I am, or think I am.
Thanks Laurie. Always nice to hear your voice.
How funny, we both posted sheds today.

The setting for your shed is much prettier than mine.

Love all the colours in the wood and love the fence – it looks like a train-track on its side!

Nice colors in this very old shet but not so warm inside I think with all those missing wood.

Yes, not a good place for shelter in the winter. But you could still store your bicycle there, I think.

That is sad Mike about missing that phase of life. However I like the sound of this curious phase 🙂
