Great contrast of color; love the texture. I think that tree really adds to the photo – it stops you in place and turns me back the other way rather than continuing to drift along the image. Nicely composed.
I saw Namath in Superbowl lll in Miami. I was 19 and in the Navy. What a memory.
OK, but understand that if the roles were reversed and I was you, I would hook him up (me), just because.
fantastic photo Mike – just shows what gets covered up with paint. Many years ago I bought an old house that had a black painted fireplace in the dining room, my wife hated it and one day she set to work scraping off the black paint. When I got home from work I was amazed – it was covered in stunningly beautiful hand painted tiles! Just shows that some people don’t appreciate what they have.
I’m not unhappy with it, and if you would have re-blogged it I would have been fine. Once you take it out the WP realm, and into your own, it becomes a little different. I do thank you for giving me the link and I certainly am not accusing you of anything devious.
Bottom line, no worries, and thank you.
Nice composition! I could totally see this as a grunge processing! lol

If paint could tell a story of all the years of activity seen. Lovely shot.

That house must have seen horses with cowboys on them. They would have had a pistol strapped to their leg. When men were men, and sheep hid.

Great shot, right up my alley, photographically… And what’s around the corner, behind the tree? All history and mystery 🙂
