Lol, I am a bit of a night owl and 11:30 is my bed time. With a good night’s sleep I am in bed till 8:30. So much for stereotypes. Oh, I am also sexually active š
I find the colour of that short growth all around really interesting – it has a distinct blue tinge. What is it, and how come it’s so … ahh …low? (Forgive the ignorance of an Aussie.)
I think it is….I have no idea. But I can attribute some of the color to the afternoon light, and shade. Call on me again when I have no idea, which is most of the time.
Warm pictures help when the thermometer dips to zero. I look at beaches and boats, flowers and trees with leaves. A meadow is good. Green meadow even better š
This is so beautiful, Mike!
CO is my favorite state!
You are blessed to see such views and you capture them so beautifully so we can enjoy them!
Thank you and HUGS! š
What a beautiful scene this is! I love the light on the tops of the mountains.

The sun on the mountaintops really does look inviting. Have you ever been out there at dawn (I’m assuming this is afternoon/evening)?

That was afternoon, and I don’t do dawn anymore. Too damn old.

Yeah but I thought old people didn’t need as much sleep? Or that they go to bed around 7 so dawn should be easy for you, no? š

Lovely and warming. Thank you. (It’s frosty and cold outside my window today.)

And it snowed 3 inches here last night. Pretty and powdery, but a pain. Hi Robin.

The sun on the mountains is beautiful but what really caught my eye was the path/road. Where does it go?

There was once an old homestead down that way, but it now is in ruins. Perhaps there is a ranch or two above the bluff.

Interesting to imagine all the trips taken down that road over the decades…

Very cold winters there as well. Miners, loggers, ranchers, cowboys, and miscreants.

We have something very similar actually. It’s only missing the mountains and the meadow!

HA! But you have Mickey Mouse and Goofy. The only mice we have here are rodents and people don’t pay to see them, they pay to have them killed.
