It’s mostly bare here now. I’m glad I shot a lot while I could. I wish Autumn would hang around a bit longer. You’ve grabbed those colors. Store them up for the long winter!
Must be a FC thing. I have a pic I took a year ago this time of my eldest granddaughter in front of a tree like that. It is very picturesque near where they live. I miss the vibrant reds of the maples in Ontario. But we do have a few liquid ambers in the neighborhood, which kind of helps a bit. 🙂
Ambers are always a nice color. FC, 30 miles from me, has the same colors I do and they are particularly nice this year, perhaps from all the rain we had in September.
Thank you for capturing this beauty for all of us to enjoy, Mike.

But you grabbed some great colors as well. Yes, winter will barge in and hang out for too long.
Good morning and thank you, Marilyn.

Gorgeous color, Mike! Our autumn color is just getting started here. Today and tomorrow will be lovely to be outside. I plan to make the most of it!

Enjoy it Lori. It is payback for all that humidity.

Splendid shot! It would be really cool if you add a shot of the same frame after the leaves are shed.

Thanks. It would be a barren and cold scene but would provide an interesting juxtaposition.

It seems your affair with autumn is ending all too soon. There’s much more colors around here that are beginning to start up.
