An old drive-in remains open on select days of the week. The movie Grease really was playing there. It was like time traveling, although I choose not to see that movie again..ever.
I agree about Grease. I love our drive-ins (we have two), but they are SO popular it’s hours of waiting in line to get in, so we don’t go. It was fun when we did, though. They play new releases, but always a double header: TWO current releases for $10 for a car full of people and if you have a van, $20. A bargain no matter how you count it.
Aww, I miss the drive-in movies….

I never could see the picture, but that isn’t why I went so it didn’t matter 😉

Very provocative image of something of going back in time. I love this! But you’re right about Grease … ugh!

Thanks Gina. Yes, a step back in time. But when I drove away I noticed my back still hurt.

Really, I saw grease once, it was plenty. Now Travolta in ‘get shorty’, that I can do over and over.
Thanks for the comment gus. Visit again.

I once had a van in the time of drive ins. It was a lot of fun for sure. Even caught some of the movie.

Grease? Wow, that drive-in hasn’t been open in decades!

As I said in my narrative, it is still open and that is what was playing. Some sort of sing along version. Gag me.

We have a drive-in here. I get to go sometimes. There’s usually some grease on the ground here and there.

Keep your pretty paws out of that grease.
