Many commercial rafting companies are set up there and have various entry points. But we did find this by accident while out discovering, so that counts for something, I think.
Mike, Great photography! I purchased a nice Canon Ti-3 at the beginning of the year, and have been meaning to use it, but was gone on a 2,200 mile hike this year, where I didn’t want the weight with me or stress of protecting it from the elements of nature. Your photography inspires me to get that camera out of storage and into nature! The stream shot reminded me of one particular stream with black rocks that I forded in the 100-mile Wilderness at the end of July this year. I also enjoy the B&W’s of various structures. Great eye for photography!

Yeah tubing is a hoot. It’s just slowing down some here, earlier in the year it was very swift.
Thank you.

Some of the reasons I enjoy living here in the Mountain West…snow-melt and running streams and rivers. Very nice photo, Mike…looks like home.

There are places left untouched, after all. The rivers in Texas are warm and opaque. I love this scene, Mike. It’s a wonderful photograph.

Thanks George. I waited for two boatloads of rafters to pass before I took the picture. Didn’t want it polluted with people.

Maybe so far not too many people will hang out there. Might have known rafters would find this paradise!! 🙂
