This gentleman recently did some concrete work for me, and I was most impressed with both his work ethic and his appearance. Leo will be 59 soon, and works harder than men half his age. He was kind enough to allow me a few quick photos and I love this portrait.
Wonderful portrait of this gentleman, the color and texture around him are perfect.

It does, and we talked for some time about all of that work. He could sell his business and kick back, but some men can’t do that. Thank you.

I look at this portrait and a person. A flesh and blood thing. That is my definition of a great portrait.

all of us, as human beings are imperfect. This is something I read the other day that resonated with me:
“Our being is subject to all the chances of life. There are so many things we are capable of, that we could be or do. The potentialities are so great that we never, any of us, are more than one-fourth fulfilled.”

Not may be. You have Mike. I have. But here’s the thing. I see you post new pictures, going out to capture new ones, looking for new subjects, keeping up with new tools, the spirit in you is young and alive and kicking.
