Leo

This gentleman recently did some concrete work for me, and I was most impressed with both his work ethic and his appearance. Leo will be 59 soon, and works harder than men half his age. He was kind enough to allow me a few quick photos and I love this portrait.

    • It does, and we talked for some time about all of that work. He could sell his business and kick back, but some men can’t do that. Thank you.

    • Sorry Bro I left out a word or two. Here is the revised comment: I looked at this portrait and I see a person. A flesh and blood thing. That is my definition of a great portrait.
      Thanks for sharing Mike!.

      • all of us, as human beings are imperfect. This is something I read the other day that resonated with me:
“Our being is subject to all the chances of life. There are so many things we are capable of, that we could be or do. The potentialities are so great that we never, any of us, are more than one-fourth fulfilled.”

  1. Great pic Mike. I remember many moons ago going to an art show where you had your stuff. What a great time! I’m sure that was 8 or 9 years ago, but I still remember it well.
