I’ve always wondered what a weather vane at the North Pole would look like, seeing as every direction would be south. Probably just a snow-covered lump, come to think of it.
There is so much about this I like. The vane itself, of course, but also the lines of the tin roof, the completely featureless sky, the tree, and that crazy pattern in the wood under the shutters. Awesome work Mike.

Ha! Yes, a snow covered lump. That is also what I would look like there, if I stood outside for a length of time.
