This church was marked as historical and dates back to 1896. It has been seemingly well maintained and refurbished as necessary. Found by accident while trying to get lost.
It is a beautiful photograph and church, but my favorite thing about this post was the line ” Found by accident while trying to get lost.” That is the greatest thing I’ve read in some time.
But you can never get lost. You’re just taking an alternate route.
My husband restored a very nice brick one-room schoolhouse in Utah back in the 80s. You would have liked it.
Yes, without the full psychotic break I can never get as lost as I often would like. And I would like that restored one room schoolhouse. Your husband sounds like a man who had some skills. My wife’s husband has very few.
“while trying to get lost” – seems to come naturally to me!
I really like old churches, not in a religious way, they seem to have a way of reflecting the care their local communities
Nice and interesting architecture . Is it all made of wood ?

Interesting for us here , as we are used to see stone constructions ….

I don’t know what is under the outside wood veneer but a building built in 1896 could certainly have all wood construction.

I would be willing to bet your wife might just disagree with that last statement.
