Any paint on this old door has been washed away by time and the elements. Now snow nips at the threshold, and without some paint and care this door will perish.
There is a lot going on in this picture. Though there are not a lot of elements here, each contrast, even complements the others: White walls yet tinged with grey, black and rust light standing out against the white and the door, well you said it best. Nice capture Mike.
The door itself is sad, although the brick is old and beautiful. I might even suggest that sad can also be beautiful, given the right framework. Kind of like a Basset Hound. And thanks.
You must print this! I am building an online store on my site and I really think you would succeed with one as well. Many people would love this image on their wall
I am sure that can be arranged; however, it is really easy to have your own shop. Go Imagekind.com and check it out. I am in the early stages but it is not tough to get it going
I knew the door ho would be back! Nice photo, I like the lamp on the wall, very interesting.

I always find doors so intriguing…the older and more weathered, the better! Great capture.

As always my strange fascination with doors makes me hit like…..and yet it’s a sad and slightly depressing door!
