The cows were just to my right, looking at me, when I stopped on a dirt road to grab this image. Should there be a hole in that silo? I asked a cow, but was ignored. Happens a lot.

There should be several…about 4 feet apart, center to center on the barn side out of view..these doors are used to empty silage into the barn for cattle to feed on….

It’s not just the cows. I have found in my travels that horses, burros, llamas, ducks, geese, lambs, and chickens have little to say as well.

Now I’ve had some good success with cows and other times been totally ignored. We were driving on a road by our northern house and came along side a very big, black bull trotting along the road. When our eyes met, his had fire in them. I decided not to ask for an explanation for his being where he shouldn’t be. We drove on very quickly and called 911 to report him.
