My soul is most at rest at the water’s edge, and in south Texas that need is met with fishing and sight seeing. In this image we see a handsome boat, a little time worn, but looking stout and sea worthy. Today I enjoyed large and fresh shrimp, it was SO good.
Oooh, fresh shrimp – yummy. Interesting boat…

Beautiful boat Mike. Is it a trawler? I could really go for some fresh gulf shrimp right about now!

It may well be a trawler. I bought my shrimp from another boat….

That’s a fine boat. I’m so glad you get to the coast Mike and that your soul is a rest when you’re there. As you’ve probably guessed by now, it has that affect on me also.

I have deduced that you, like me, crave the ocean. I was born by the sea, I expect that one day I will perish by the sea, but not in it!

That whole Mayan thing actually was of some concern to me. Now that I am here to tell you that I expect I am immortal. A mixed blessing in my opinion.

I remember that it was a concern of yours, Mike…that’s why I mentioned that I’m glad we all survived it. And I guess that means that we’re all immortal, too, right? That might not be such a good thing for some of us (others). I’m happy you’re still around. 🙂

Sounds like a lovely day. I guess shrimp is what we call prawns here. The ones we call shrimp are teeny-tiny things that you get on pizza. Prawns are popular for Christmas BBQ food. Yummy! Merry Christmas Mike!

Over on this side of the globe we have prawns too but they are really huge shrimp. The shrimp we just ate were 3″ and thick. I have had prawns that are 6″ and really delicious. Happy holidays Katherine!

Honestly, I was just telling Judy that we need to get into the country to find some barns.
