Small Fish

No harm came to this fish who was tossed back into the water within 45 seconds of catching him. I do not have a 1″ thumb. I only eat fish that are big enough to filet. This little fellow was pretty enough to be photographed and swam away quickly when released.

As this large group of birds flew close to the current by the seaside, they would peel off one at a time doing what appeared to be a rehearsed and synchronized air ballet. It was quite remarkable to observe and I am certain it was joyous and playful for them.

My soul is most at rest at the water’s edge, and in south Texas that need is met with fishing and sight seeing. In this image we see a handsome boat, a little time worn, but looking stout and sea worthy. Today I enjoyed large and fresh shrimp, it was SO good.

A simple photo reflecting a deliberate life, where time is measured by which crops are produced according to the season. In this scene we are between crops, and all is still.
