Autumn Ash Tree

I live in a community that is full of trees. This creates a park like canvas in the summer and something very colorful in the fall. This particular tree is on my property and is soon to drop all its leaves, blessing me with the opportunity for manual labor. The sliver of white on the upper right is part of the moon. Happy Wednesday, all.

    • Thanks, and like many people, it is my favorite season. But I do not like winter, although there is beauty to be found there as well. Thank you.

      • I like that too. What I like on autumn is not only the colors. The air is so refreshing but still not to cold. I also like it how it smells after a rain. I really like that.. Also the sound of raindrops on my window. A friend did not believe me when I mentioned it. πŸ™‚

Winter can be very beautiful when it comes to brilliant snow flakes in the air.. snow on the roofs and streets and all the other glittering. But it is simply to cold then to stay a long time outdoors. πŸ™‚

      • You have nailed it my friend. My sentiments exactly. I am most comfortable with a light jacket and a slight chill in the air. CLEAN air. The smell of burning leaves and wood from a fireplace.

  1. Great shot, Mike. I simply love to see all the autumn colors since I have to really search for some here in our conifer laden stretch of country. Must say I’m not sorry to avoid all that raking though…. πŸ˜‰
