Bricked Door

A door without a knob sits surrounded by old bricks. A single light bulb reflects behind the glass top. The powder like material at the foot of this door is hail from a major storm the night before.

  1. I look through the window of a door with no knob and see a moon lighting the distance. Many mysteries unfold behind this door if you can only find your way over the frozen threshold and through its enigmatic entrance.

  2. Love the lines and the colour. And the powder on the ground makes me think of fairy dust the way it’s lit. The window looks like the moon in an otherwise dark sky, further signs there’s fae within. Maybe there’s no knob on the outside because the fae must invite you in.
