Beautiful it is. At first glance it doesn’t look like it’s been made to last but quite obviously it has. I love the ramp and the small shuttered window on the side.
I have been thinking of telling you tsomething but every time i forget to write ,
so better say this first..I just love that wooden carriage in the header..yours is the best header image i have seen,if and when you have some time please do tell a little more about it
that garage is beautiful,it does look like a temporary setup…but i love wooden structures they are more real and more appealing than any other material used…
Thanks Soma. I believe that the whole image of my header carriage is in my blog somewhere….. earlier post. I can email the image to you if you would like. That would happen tomorrow.
Thank you

Not much more to add……found it last summer in a town just 20 miles from me and it was on someones property, but close enough to the road for me to shoot it.
Thanks Soma.
It reminds me of the old garage and shed in our backyard in Northern Alberta. Both were old then and were still standing when we visited about five years ago. They were so old the original use of the shed was as an ice house for storage. When we moved there, in 1958, there were still remnants of sawdust on the floor. Thank you for the memories.

How old do you figure that is? 1930’s?

Maybe… but I’m not a very good judge of the age of wooden structures like that

I like the small window on the side. This garage looks like some sort of hideout as well.

I love sheds… they have a particular smell, especially on a warm day or at night.

A little weathered looking but still looks like it could be used today.

Agreed. It must have have been made well but sure could use some stain or waterproofing, eh.
