When I came upon this house, in a very small town, I thought for a moment that I found a time portal and it was now in 1958. As you can tell, one of the front windows has been covered, giving it an unbalanced feel. Still, there is something unique and wonderful about this home.
You’re right Mike I get the same feeling about it! Nice shot! 🙂

Thanks. I thought it was a pretty cool looking house.

Mike, it looks more like a commercial building than a home. Great discovery. Looks good in B&W.

You may well be right. The absence of any signage and autos gave me the impression it is a home but it may well be an abandoned business.
And thank you sir.

For a straw house it stands up very nice. I like the photo with its great tonal composition.

Yes, it’s quite mysterious, as if they’re hiding some sort of experiment in there. Nice pic!

You are right, it does appear too quiet. I will break in and report to you. If I do not report to you, it means they have captured me. Launch a rescue team….

Maybe you can spy through the side windows first…

Nope, I’m gonna barge in wearing an iron diving helmet with the glass front. That way they won’t be able to describe me.

In some of villages there are abode houses too… I love them actually and in here most of them in blue colours… But to be honest, it is not good for earthquakes and they move and build new houses instead of them. But in your photograph this adobe house seems so good, I mean as if new… and I loved how you captured… White colour reminds me some of Greek Islands… Thank you dear Mike, it is always so nice to watch your photographs… With my love, nia

Thanks Nia. I don’t know that it is actually adobe, but maybe built to look like it.

Nice find, Mike. Is that really a house? It don’t look homey to me…looks like some sort of a lab or something.

Could be commercial, might be a house, looks like it is empty in any event.
Thanks Gracie.

So very peculiar! It does look like adobe, but…? I do love the curved entry walls…so 1950s, or so.
But I’m really wondering…what went on in the basement?
