I was expecting to find a real magic carpet 🙂 Sounds that it would be so nice and so exciting to follow you dear Mike, Good Luck, and ride in safety, don’t drive fast…
I have to say, nice bike, and that I laughed when I saw this post. We have a blue 2002 Vulcan kitted out same except you have the Screaming Eagle pipes which are on the Gorgeous One’s Christmas list. Our bike doesn’t live in the city with us – no parking & crazy city traffic, but we love riding when we are at our house a few hours up the coast & we’re looking forward to Autumn rides during April when we have some time away 🙂
With you on waiting for warmer riding weather. I used to own my own motorcycle, but I love taking photos from the queen seat more and leave the driving to my best friend.
I look forward to seeing the results of your excursions.

That’s a very sweet ride! I envy you the climate and the wide open spaces to really enjoy a bike like that. I’ll look forward to your posts.

You are spot on about the wide open spaces. From my home I can go in any direction and ride forever. Thank you.

I own an 02 Intruder 1500 and have a whole list of abandoned buildings and sites waiting for me……. just as soon as the weather warms up a bit.

Nice! In Ottawa you have to wait maybe just a bit longer than me, eh?

Yeah, I’m guessing mid to end of April at the absolute earliest this year.

The longer the wait, the sweeter the ride!

All we get to see is a tiny dot in the distance and a fading tune of Lynyrd Skynyrd as Mike disappears into the sunset…

So if April is Autumn……you must be in Australia?
My pipes do scream. Do be careful out there and have fun. Thank you for the comment.
