Lowly grasses, all their different varieties, stages, make a fascinating subject for the photographer (that is to say, for me with or without camera). The light, dew, frost, etc can make it look so good and different all the time. Your shot, Mike, is a great example of the beauty of grass.
Not much! Been super busy been getting back into the swing of things. Playing catchup on my blog visits!
Are you a CIA agent? I get the sense you are gone periodically.
Sorry that’s classified information!
You are a man of some mystery. Now I’m going to have my people look into who you really are. If it turns out your are involved in any illegal activities PLEASE let me in.
Haha! You crack me up! I bet your a lot of fun to hang out with!
If you like irreverent and ridiculous!
It’s like we’re long lost brothers!
Listen man, truth be told I could use a long lost brother. Let’s go to lunch and talk about it. You’re buying.
Sounds like a plan bro!
Go west, young man.
I might just show up on your doorstep one of these days!
I should be so lucky.
Seriously I would love to go out west to take pictures. I have never been there.
Seriously, plan it out and let me know.
Will do buddy!
Michael and Mike- just read your comments haha You guys are definitely bothers from other mothers. Imagine the photos you’d take together! Anyway LOVE the grass photo Mike, very beautiful lighting!
The way you caught the light is magnificent, Mike.
Thank you Marion. Every dog finds a bone now and again.

Tall grass, low grass, wild grass too. Great subjects for those who see…….like me and you.
Thank you Joseph.
I love the tall grass…haven’t been able to capture any nice images myself, but always love seeing them done well. Very nice, Mike.
Much obliged Scott.
The way grasses pick up the light makes them as pretty as any flower.
And sometimes prettier. Thanks Pat.
You make grass look downright cool. Awesome shot.
Thanks T.
Tasty shot Mike
Tasty, eh? I like that and thank you Sir John.
Love this one, Mike.
A bog like photo perhaps. Thanks.

Yeah, wasn’t much color to be had, and not that much needed. Thanks.

Thanks a lot.
You captured the light so beautifully on this shot Mike. Great work.
Generous comment. Thank you very much.
Neat shot, Mike. That’s also a different kind of grass I don’t think I’ve ever seen (or perhaps I should say ‘noticed’.)
Thanks Gunta. I can’t tell you anything about the grass, as I have no idea.
This is a very beautiful shot Mike!
Glove! What up you dog? Oh, and thank you.
