We have a waterfall here that runs completely dry this time of year. I call it the “drought brook”…every time I pass it it gives me something to think about… how lucky we are for the water we DO have here in this country… the danger we face in not being wise in its use…not to mention the drought of my own strength – where when the water does flow…never really understanding its source.
And I have read of your health challenges Merrill and your comment gives me the chance to say that I find no joy in your discomfort and wish for you nothing less than good energy and fine days.
A beautiful place to be. Nice.
Fabulous hike with Judy and Pumpkin on Saturday.
Very pretty, Mike.
That it was, thanks.
Truly serene, nice capture.
Thanks. It is a great hike with our dog off leash.
Looks very quiet and peaceful. Nice.
Just Judy, Pumpkin, and myself. Thank you.
It’s been so hot and dry around here that we actually went for a hike IN A MALL!! At least it had a water feature.
Paul you are a witty man and very likable.
Thank you. Unfortunately, it’s true. I accompanied my wife to the mall this weekend just so I could get some exercise!
A beautiful spot!
Indeed.
Love the places where the dog can run free. Did Pumpkin go for a swim?
We kept her away from the water which is low and dirty. Instead she ran joyfully free and would just take off running and then double back. Hi Gunta.
That’s beautiful. It almost looks like landscaping that’s designed to look “wild”, and yet it’s the real deal.
I didn’t move a thing! Thank you my good man.
So many pretty greens!
It is a great little area, hardly used.
A dry crick indeed! Good thing about this is the skeeters aren’t so thick. At least they have been much less aggressive here this year.
Same here John, not seeing so many skeeters this year.

Reminds me of England …
